Ive only played a few minutes of online but I have played the story 3 times. The game is great. Controls can mess you up a few times.
Sometimes it feels like Arthur is an errand boy. Graphics are amazing even though there might have been a downgrade. This is hands down best graphics. Activities are amazingly fun. The cores I think are frustrating but overall, this is my favorite game. Submitted on 7/4/2019 Review title of Lemieux777ONLINESo, the game HAS BEEN OUT FOR MONTHS but the online ALWAYS kicks me out. One of the reasons I bought this game was so my friends and I could play online and shoot up towns.
But that can never happen because I get kicked out within 5-10 minutes. Besides the Online part, the game is beautiful and adventurous.
There's never nothing to do. The graphics are amazing as well as the plot and the physics. I know the Online is in Beta, but the game has been out since October and with making a game as beautiful and huge as this one, I strongly feel like they could fix one tiny glitch: the online keeps kicking me out.Ok here's an update: ALMOST TWO MONTHS LATER IT STILL WON'T WORK! Submitted on 5/20/2019 Review title of zlmlllGold Bars = Pay to WinNOTE: This is just my take on Red Dead Redemption 2, prequel to a game I really enjoyed years back. However, it is only an oppinion and should not be held to a factual standard.I want to begin by stating that I really love this game, particularly the campaign, but I do also enjoy the multiplayer. However, in my opinion, this game has been corrupted with the ability to buy gold bars with real $$$ in order to use said bars in game to buy your way to the top (i.e. Clothing, weapons, 2nd holsters for your pistols, etc.).
Many people like me, who are disappointed with this aspect of the game, could still easily afford to buy the gold bars themselves. On the other hand, in my honest opinion, it takes more skill to earn money in game and rank up in order to access higher-tier unlocks, as opposed to going and asking your mom if you can buy gold bars, or waste your own cash on them if you are actually old enough for an M game. Just stating how I feel, only so much you can fit into 1000 words.
Submitted on 5/31/2019 Review title of key definitionTake note from CD Projekt Red /Stop with the pay to win garbage!!!! People have had enough. Campaign 10/10, stop being greedy with online. Make worth while DLC and ppl will buy it. Cosmetic is fine as well.
You big gaming companies just dont get it. CD PROJEKT RED is light in the dark, take note Rockstar, dont keep milking your fan base. Its really sad well almost def not get any campaign DLC because of the stupid online cash grab tactics. I love the world and story. The mission formula is beginning to show its age.
Strictly speaking about the single play this game is one of the best this generation. To ignore the shady and greedy business practices by blindly giving this a five star just enables it to continue.
I really wish more people would hold these developers accountable, its very sad gaming has gone down this path. Submitted on 5/18/2019 Review title of LeGiT A7XRDR Online? You might want to wait.Single player is great but online is an absolute joke! First off, don't get comfy in online because you will most likely get disconnected FREQUENTLY assuming you get past the initial loading screen first. Secondly, microtransactions, get used to them if you don't want a mediocre experience because their premium currency is mandatory for several items and horses and so on. The premium currency is the ONLY way to get said items when it should be a shortcut to get items. Another thing is decisions made by the group in co-op affect your honor standinng, so basically either you are honorable as group or dishonorable as a group.
So far, as usual with Rockstar, they are attempting to rope people into to competitive play as opposed to pleasing both PVP and PVE players respectively. The co-op feels forced and insincere while PVP seems more polished and plentiful. Like I keep telling people, they will try to drain your wallet with microtransactions, not me though, I won't stand for it.
